There are entire festivals dedicated to chocolate pairings.  Some of our favorites are the Chocolate, Wine & Whiskey Festival, the Wine, Cheese & Chocolate Festival, and there's even a Beer, Wine, Chocolate & Candy Pairing Festival (sign us up!).  In fact, the idea to create our first pairing guide stemmed from our participation in the Wine & Chocolate Festival in Albany, where we observed the seamless blending of these two foodie passions. We figured, if people can enjoy the intricacies of pairing the richness and delicacy of chocolate with wine...well, imagine the endless flavor profiles that one can experience within the world of hard candy pairings.
