You are doing great! You have your reception site booked and with a deep sigh of relief you can continue with your next wedding planning adventure. The next few months you will need to get the rest of your vendors booked. So, do some research, have some fun and remember to choose vendors that you are completely comfortable with.

8-10 Months Before
Bride: Start envisioning and shopping for your dress. |
Imagine your wedding food; start researching and interviewing caterers (If one is not provided by the reception venue). |
Start research and interviewing photographers and videographers. |
Envision your wedding entertainment; start researching and interviewing reception bands or DJs. |
Picture your floral décor; start researching and interviewing florists. |
If you’re marrying during a tourist or holiday season or having a destination wedding, send a save-the-date card to guests. |
If you’ll have many out-of-town guests, research and reserve accommodations. |
Bride: Order you wedding dress. |
Register for gifts (if you have not already). |
If you’ll need to rent anything for you ceremony or reception (chairs, tables, rent, and so on), contract a rental company. |
Book your photographer. |
Book your videographer. |
Book your reception band or DJ. |
Book your florist. |
