New Wedding Postage Prices, Designs and 2 ounce Forever Stamps!

While the first class postage price (currently 49 cents) did not change, the postcard price went up 1 penny to 35 cents.  Also, the additional postage rate went up to 22 cents for each ounce over 1 ounce.

The USPS also has delivered some fun new designs.  This post will feature some of the delightful first class forever designs appropriate for weddings or special occasions, 2 ounce forever stamps (currently at 71 cents) and forever postcard stamps (currently at 35 cents).  All the stamp designs you see are available at www.usps.com.  Just click on the stamps category you need.

Wedding Postage with Two white roses 49 cent forever stamps
	The first forever wedding stamp is soft and lovely with two white roses against a wedding invitation with a white ribbon in the background. Forever stamps are always the value of first class postage - no matter how much the price of first class postage increases in the future.

Bold and colorful forever stamp with dark red background and pink heart with swirls on all four corners.These bold colors will make a great choice for bachelorette parties, engagement dinner invitations, and of course Valentine's Day mailings.
Old Fashioned Vintage Rose - 49 cent forever stamp

So now if the price of two ounce postage goes up from the time you buy your stamps, no worries!  These two ounce forever stamps will still be valid  As of June 2015, the two ounce price for wedding invitation postage is 71 cents.  (This value is also good for square envelopes)

2 Ounce Vintage Tulip - 71 cents

Another lovely option for two ounce forever stamps is this beautiful line drawing. What's not to love with this old fashioned illustration of a tulip in black, soft grays and white.  We love the bright pop of small red heart in the upper right hand corner.  There is also a complimenting first class forever stamp in this design also that you can use for RSVP or thank you mailings.

2 Ounce Colorful Yes I Do Stamps - 71 cents

 

 

The third two ounce "forever stamp" is the colors Yes I do!  This fun design has colorful flowers of purple, gold and pink among free flowing leaves in blue, green and gold.  One side said Yes, the other says "I do".  The entire design is shaped like a heart - perfect!

 

 

 

 

 

Postcard Stamps - Now have forever values!

The postcard stamp (currently at 35 cents) features 4 different artistic renderings of coastal birds:  the King Eider, the Red Knot, Spoonbill and Frigate Bird.  These postcard stamps are "forever" so you can buy now and your birds will fly on any standard postcard in the future - no matter what the price.
