My father is a loving and a resourceful person whose contribution has significantly transformed my life. He is always there for me despite his busy schedule. He is the hero in my life due to his relentless effort in making a better person, and our family to have the best experience. My father is a civil engineer. The job is highly demanding, but my father finds time for his family and engaging in other activities that are important for his wellbeing. He is a mentor and a role model to may in his workplace, neighborhood and the church. Many people look upon him to provide direction and leadership especially in times of crisis. I often thought that my father was not doing enough to make me have all the fancy things that other children in the neighborhood had. I have come to realize that he was trying his level best to protect me from being spoilt by things that have no value. A good father should always protection his child even if the child is not happy about it. He has always provided direction and leadership while giving me room to have a meaningful and realistic experience that can have a positive impact in my life. My father is a great counselor. There were many instances when he took his time off to help me overcome stress and depression associated with childhood. He never took things for granted and tried his best to come up with solutions to problems. I was a very stubborn and a rowdy child during my early childhood, but my father disciplined me to become a better person. My father has never believed in the complete application of child right since he considers it as a tool that is capable of misleading children into destruction if implemented without factoring some vital logical factors. He considers the rod to be vital in streamlining a child to the right direction. Having a dialogue with a child is not enough to instill discipline. According to my father, parents need to have authority over their children, and canning is a way of parents exercising their authority.
As a kid, I never went anywhere for tuition because my father was always there to offer academic assistance whenever I needed. He helped me with homework, and I was always free to ask him anything that I did not understand. My father has always been funny, smart, cool and adventurous. He loves to travel and often took me along with him. I have traveled to many parts of the world with my father. As a result, I have developed a strong bond with my father. The long vacations provided an opportunity for us to express ourselves away from the distraction of the daily hustle. My father has shown me the real perspective of life, the importance of having endurance, and ways of becoming successful in life. He has opened my eyes to opportunities but gave me the right to make the decision on which path to take. I thank God for the wonderful and caring father he gave me.
