The iconic kasavu sarees from Kerala is an embodiment of the state's tradition and culture. Malayalis swear by the elegant white cotton sarees adorned with pretty golden borders made with zari (gold thread). Although the origin of kasavu sarees can be traced back various centuries, women still love wearing them on auspicious and special events. Recently, on the occasion of Vishu, which is the Malayalam New Year, actress Malavika Mohanan channelised her inner diva with a gorgeous kasavu saree.

She shared pictures wearing a jaw-dropping white saree with quintessential golden borders. Malavika looked absolutely graceful and we couldn't take our eyes off her. She paired it with a stunning red blouse featuring short sleeves. For accessories, the actress opted for gold jhumkas and bangles. For makeup, she went for contoured cheeks, kohl-rimmed eyes, and nude lips. She added a tiny black bindi and tied her hair in a fuss-free manner.
