Love Letter Ceremony

Also know as the Wine Box ceremony. A couple introducd me to this idea and I LOOOVE it! In my opinion, this is by far the most romatic and useful ceremony I have come acrossed and preform.
Haven't heard of it? Well let me explain, you get a wooden box big enough to fit one bottle of red wine, they age better, two wine glasses, and two love letters. You write your love letter to your partner saying all the reasons you love him/her, and why your soooo happy to be spending the rest of your life with him/her. These letters are NOT to be exchaned and read, instead they are placed into the wooden box the day of your wedding as part of the ceremony. This happens right before the pronouncement of your marriage, after you rings. The box is locked or nailed shut, and not to be opened again until your 5th anniversary! The only other reason to open this box before hand is if you hit a bump in your relationship. This will help you remind you why you fell in love with other and to remember you promised to stick with each other for better or worse.
If your not much for wine, you can substitute the wine and glasses for tea/coffee and two mugs.
Feel free to add your own music cd, photos, or anything else that you share together.

Now where can you get the box from?
Well I've scowered the net and my local stores from Michael's to World Market and had such a terrible time trying to find a box suitable for my clients, they searched hi and low too. They only place that came close was Joann's (the craft and fabric store), but it was a bit expensive and we'd still have to replace the front clasps with a something to lock it. So, I decided to ask my husband to have a crack at it, the outcome was great, my clients loved the box! It's nothing fancy, but sure does fit the need. We can make it with or without the mortise lock, it has a hinged lid, and can be unfinished for you to decorate, or we can add a stain for you. So what's it cost already, right? We are charging $90 for the box with your choice of stain, lock and key or nails, bottle of red bordeaux or cabernet sauvignon wine, two stemless wine glasses, and stationary with envelopes for your love letters. Not a bad deal considering all you get, or don't get, with the other advertised wedding box that no one seem to be able to get there hands on. Oh I almost for got, we ship throughout the US.
