You’ve been dreaming about your wedding since you can remember. Your prince charming came along on his white horse and swept you off your feet. You’re in love, want to spend the rest of your lives together, you set a date and it’s all so exciting … and so it should be. Congratulations !
Before you know it you are attending bridal shows, colour swatches and bridal magazines are lying all over the place - in the house, in your car and you’re thinking about colours, venues, food, themes, music, dresses, shoes …. all the time. Your fiancé suddenly knows more about five shades of white than he ever dreamt he would and you’re considering becoming a wedding planner. Everything is going smoothly but soon you start to feel a bit overwhelmed as you both begin to realize just how much planning and decision making has to take place, and before you know it, excitement has turned to stress.
This is a good time to remember that as important as all these details may be, they should not cause you sleepless nights or family tension. This is your wedding day and should be planned and remembered with joy ! To help you stay on track, I will be posting hints and tips as well as answering any questions or concerns you may have.
To start with, take a look at the Wedding TimeLine/countdown List on our page http://www.weddings-unveiled.com/timeline.html The Timeline is quite detailed and should be adjusted to suit your needs according to the type of wedding you’re planning. It’s a great way to stay on track and organized without worrying that you've forgotten something important.
The first thing you need to do, is set your wedding date and secure your ceremony location and officiant/minister performing your ceremony http://www.weddings-unveiled.com/Plan.html Ensure that the ceremony venue can accommodate the number of your attending guests. If you're planning an outdoor ceremony, keep in mind that weather is unpredictable. Enquire and plan around possible last-minute changes in the event of having to move your ceremony indoors and keep a few umbrellas on hand, they go a long way preserve beautiful hair-do’s.
NEXT TIME : Budget first !
