The majority of the consumers are often frightened by the nature of lab-grown diamonds. They are ready to buy them being guided by the ethical and environmental motives and considering the affordable prices of synthesized gemstones. However, people do not know whether the jewelry they choose indeed contains lab-created gemstones or false diamonds. Today it is a big problem for manufacturers to dispel customers’ doubts even having the appropriate certificates.
Happily to both traders and buyers, the problem of identification could be resolved soon. During the latest jewelry tradeshow that had a place in Hong Kong, DRC Techno announced intent to present new their invention - two detecting devices. The J-Detect 9000 and J-Mini will supplement the company’s J-Smart Pro machine and will assist in identifying diamonds’ nature. Both devices can detect whether the diamond was grown using an appropriate procedure, including high temperature and pressure and chemical-vapor deposition, or in any other way. They also provide the experts with the ability to find out whether the gemstone is holistic or it is a loose or mounted product.
The J-Detect 9000 is huge enough and it is appointed for professional use and evaluating huge volumes of jewelry products. Its weight is near 14 kilograms (or 30 pounds). One can buy it for $10,000. Evidently, it is a good tool for testing wholesale products, which can help to ensure traders or manufacturers in buying gemstones of the highest quality, and avoid great loses caused by cheating.
The J-Mini is more compact and cheaper as well. It weighs near 6 kilograms (or 13 pounds); its price is around $7,000. It is not inferior to its counterpart in the quality of detection testing and its primary functions. However, it is much easier to use even by amateurs since it has an inbuilt independent jeweler and represents all the needed processes. The J-Mini is good for carrying and thus it could be placed in any retail store to provide the buyers with the opportunity to make tests just before purchasing jewelry with lab-grown diamonds.
MadeStones claims that the value of these detection devices is hard to overestimate. It is priceless and utterly meaningful for building trust in trader-buyers relations. Traders’ argumentation for quality will not be unfounded anymore but their arguments can gain new power and become more convincing. At the same time, the customers will not feel themselves “at risk” when buying jewelry with synthesized diamonds but can feel absolute happiness from purchase.
