Kissing Bells

Most wedding traditions include the tapping of the wine glasses to have the bride and groom kiss at there wedding, but an idea that was incorporated at a recent friends wedding reception was wedding bells. Wedding bells are symbolic of wedding ceremonies that celebrate the announcement and uniting of the couple.

This particular bride used silver bells with beautiful white wedding ribbon and small card with their picture attached to the bell to match the theme of the wedding and were placed in an elegant crystal bowl with a note card by the bowl. The card read, “Today, as we gather together wish us a love to last forever. If you would like us to share a wedded kiss, ring the bell for lifelong bliss.”

Remember, by having the guests ring the bells, they are celebrating and participating in the wedding with you and it is a great keepsake wedding favor because guests will remember what a wonderful wedding that was celebrated by using kissing bells as a symbolic part of the reception.
