Johnston Photography

I would like to take this time to intorduce myself and Johnston Photography to the Bridaltweet community. My name is Jennifer Johnston I run a Wedding Photography business out of Toronto Ontario Canada with my twin sister Julia. We have both been passionate about photography for over a decade. I started out when I was 16 years old with a Nikon film SLR, shooting kids at the summer camp I worked at along with nature/landscape photography. The second I got my hands on that camera I was hooked! You will rairly see me without my camera in hand. Over the years I have updated my equiptment as new products came on the market and now shoot with a Canon DSLR, although i still LOVE my film camera. Julia and I desided to go into the photography business together not only because we are extraverts who love being in the company of others or because Weddings are beautiful and joyous events, but because we are in the position to offer brides some unique services.
We ALWAYS shoot together. You may wonder how this is of benifit to the couples we are photographing, the first benifit is comfort, people tend to feel more relaxed in small group settings than one on one, and your pictures reflect that! The second benifit is that you always receive a second perspective on your day. (We have the resources to ensure you have one camera documenting the bride and groom for the entire day while another camera is focused on your family and friends, capturing their experience for the day). Although we look very similar and sound very similar our styles are very different, you get both. You get a second shooter absolutely FREE!
