is 2010 the year of no trend?

I've been reading a lot of blogs and articles lately trying to source the latest bridal trends for 2010.

Unfortunately, what I am finding is for every opinion offered there is always an opposite. Feathers are in, feathers are out, purple is in, purple is out , birdcae veils, floor length veils, white gowns, off white gowns, dessert bars, fruit cake - my goodness! What's a bride to do with so many people pulling her one way then another...

The fantastic news is - It's 2010 not 1884. There is no trend that can't be bucked, no fashion faux par, no set style guide to your own wedding except the one that you set yourself.

Like everything to do with a wedding, the most important thing is how you and your fiance want to do it, wear it or say it! If you want to be married in furry thongs (yes they do exist) and a gold spandex body stocking well then, be our guest.

Wedding magazines, bits, blogs and shops are a valuable resource to help focus your energies but they are not the bible.

It's all about your fashion, your style and your taste.. and remember no dress looks that same on two people. Don't believe me?
