ipods and Beach Weddings

ipods have become one of the most popular way for us all to listen to our favorite songs so it comes as no surprise that many couples often opt for the use of an ipod at there wedding to be there musician. Loaded with their perfect song. The advantage to doing this is that #1, the song will be exactly what you wanted and #2, it will save you money having to hire a musician.

What many couples may not realize is that ipods are not the way to go for a beach wedding. The problem with ipods at beach weddings is that they are almost impossible to hear over the natural sound of the crashing waves and often times the the wind. Your wedding song is most likely one of the most important aspect of your ceremony and you'll want to do everything possible to make sure you get to hear the song being played, especially if you have opted for video footage of your dream wedding.

If you do opt for using the ipod at your beach wedding you will need to make sure you have a large enough speaker. Many of the speakers made specifically for ipod use just won't do the trick.

Your beast and most inexpensive option would be to use a portable player that will run on batteries and has a loud sound. You can use any type of that will connect with the ipod and run on batteries for at least 1 hour. Your Wedding Coordinator should be able to provide you with a small stand upon request to set the player on during the ceremony.

If you already own a great portable speaker set up for your ipod this is an inexpensive way to go. If you have to purchase a player that is loud enough you may end up spending about the same as you would having a live serenade of music. So just remember the key to it all is making sure the speakers can be heard of the ocean and wind.
