The Royal Wedding Alert

We are less than 24 hours away from the Prince William and Kate Middleton wedding, & everyone is trying to jump in on last minute Royal Wedding details as Friday approaches.

Here is my final segment to the Inspired by The Royal Wedding Featuring Sara Gabriel Bridal Headpieces Part 5: Wedding Clips. You can take a look at the other pieces to my series, Part 1 (Wedding Hats), Part 2 (Bridal Headbands), Part 3 (Bridal Hair Combs), and Part 4 (Bridal Veils).

Well folks, tomorrow is the big day – 4am CST.  Will anybody be up watching?  I know a lot of us girls here from Wedding Shoppe Inc. will be watching.  Do you have anything planned for the evening to celebrate?  There hasn’t been a Royal Wedding in 30 years, something fun should be done if you haven’t already figured it out.     I will be sporting an amazing hat I made myself, all dressed up at my British friend’s house enjoying deserts and cocktails.  I will take pictures and bring them in to share with the Wedding Shoppe Inc. & My Wedding Chat fans.

We have gotten through wedding hats, bridal headbands, bridal hair combs, and bridal veils all by Sara Gabriel Bridal Accessories so for my final piece is Wedding Clips.  Also, to conclude my series of Inspired by The Royal Wedding Featuring Sara Gabriel Bridal Headpieces, I will show you my prediction for what I think Kate Middleton’s wedding dress could look similar to.

Wedding Headpiece: Sara Gabriel Bridal Headpiece Ruby Headband

A big part of the fashion over in England is hats and fascinators – especially at weddings.  Female wedding guests usually wear something on their heads because it’s always been a tradition of theirs.  Of course times have changed and so has the style.  Sara Gabriel Bridal Accessories has done a fabulous job this season with all of their wedding headpieces; most of the bridal headpieces collection from Sara Gabriel Bridal Accessories are styles we could be seeing either Kate herself or her wedding guests wearing at the Prince William and Kate Middleton wedding.

There are many different varieties of wedding headpieces out there today, and I have touched base on just a few – wedding hats, bridal headbands, bridal hair combs, and bridal veils.  Today, I will be showing you wedding clips from the Sara Gabriel Bridal Accessories Collection.  Wedding hair clips are a great wedding headpiece style because wedding hair styles for the bride can be done virtually anyway then the clip can just be placed in there where she wants it.  Another awesome tidbit about wedding hair clips is you can find so many different ones out there so anyone can find the perfect wedding clip for wedding hair styles for the bride.

I grabbed a bit of a variety of wedding clips from the Sara Gabriel Bridal Headpieces Collection, but I used more of the styles we could possibly see at The Royal Wedding on either Kate Middleton or her wedding guests.  With wedding hair clips you can find many different styles from traditional to very unconventional styles, it all depends on what kind of bride you are and what you envision for your day.  This group of wedding clips is more on the couture and kind of avant garde styling, very similar to the English style headpieces.  These wedding clips have big embellishments, feathering, floral details, veil netting, and much more giving them a very European look.  Check out this amazing group of wedding hair clips by Sara Gabriel Bridal Accessories and let me know what you think!

Aren’t all of them so fabulous? Wish I could have them all and wear a different one each day, especially the Leah Clip…I love BIG BOWS (my hat for The Royal Wedding Party may or may not include a VERY LARGE pink organza bow).  Let me know what your favorites have been throughout the series or from today’s piece alone.  What will you be wearing on your wedding day?  Look for Kate and her wedding guests wearing some glamorous headpieces very similar to all of these Sara Gabriel Bridal Headpieces.

Now for my final addition to my Part 5…my prediction for Kate Middleton’s wedding dress:

Kate Middleton has a very simple, classic, and poised style, but she still stays very up to date on fashion.  I chose Watters and Watters Bridal Gown San Francisco because I think she will be steering towards a more classic style but with a modern twist hence a lace and organza wedding dress with illusion straps.  If you look at Kate’s fashion, she usually has on sleeves of some kind, nothing strapless so she could do a long sleeve wedding gown of some kind, but I think she will keep it more modern with the v-neck and tank top straps.

A few extra things she may end up adding to her wedding day look is a long, very long cathedral bridal veil.  My guess would be she goes for a long bridal veil over a long train – a lot more easily removable, but with Westminster Abbey having such a long aisle she will need something trailing behind her so I think she will go for a timeless lace trimmed long bridal veil over a long train.  Another thing we could possibly see is if her dress is so simple, she may glam it up with a bridal sash of some kind.  With bridal belts and sashes being so popular these days I could see Kate maybe wearing one herself.  I picked out both a bridal veil and bridal sash similar to what we could be seeing on Kate Middleton.  Who knows though
