Inside Diane's Calligraphy Studio

I created this menu for a recent wedding. All was written by hand; and I created the monogram, which was all placed inside this nicely designed border that complimented the monogram beautifully.

The body of text hand written was done in grey ink and complimented by the black monogram and black border.

The Table Numbers that I created, were done in black ink on a white card and I added the grey satin ribbon to compliment the colour theme of grey, silver, black and white. All was nicely placed inside the the silver card holder for banquet style table settings, placed at the end of each table.

Additionally I had created place seating cards with the monogram printed in the centre of each card, and the guests' names were written in grey ink. Below you will see the complimentary place seating cards.

Below you will find the combined place seating card with the thank you message that was tucked inside the top flap of a clear box with a mini cake for each guest.

Calligraphy definitely adds that personal touch that far surpasses any technology of today.

It provides that artistic energy when done by hand, and is so well received by others.
