Every couple wants their wedding celebration to be memorable - a unique expression of their personalities and the life they are starting together. In wedding planning, we have heard too many times that a couple thinks they can't use their choice of color palette, theme, or venue because a friend or relative recently hosted a similar soiree.
Your wedding can be as different as you can imagine, even when using a popular color palette or location. These two weddings share a similar color palette and the same venue; however, they could not be more different.
The first celebration documented by the amazing folks at Brunk Photography have incorporated an elegant and "woodsy" element into their overall design. The invitations and menu cards have a custom graphic that was created specifically for them - depicting the gorgeous evergreen cypress trees that surround
The Golden Gate Club and gives you the feeling of being lost in the woods.
The striped topaz fabric of the napkins has a sophisticated shimmer, but is not stuffy. The hand-crafted spiced nuts are a great compliment to the table design. I love the cake which is a definite conversation-starter. A decadent layer of sea-foam green fondant covers the delicate cake, while a simple design of twigs and delicate white flowers of edible sugar give it a unique feel.

The second wedding, captured by the extremely talented Andrew Weeks, has a definite modern flair with clean lines and a fresh aesthetic. This wedding has taken the best of the mission-style beau-arts feel from the venue and blended it with a playful interpretation of a classic and modern design.
The long rectangular table is perfect for the over-sized space. It provides structure and a grand focal point for your guests. The white calla lilies are spot-on in the deco-style interior, but when you pair them in the square vase with a simple brown and green ribbon, it offers a modern feel. The dark mahogany chairs and the chocolate colored accents give the room the necessary "pop" of color, but do not overwhelm it.
Your wedding should be a reflection of you and your style - if you love a color palette or location, don't be timid to take on the challenge and claiming it as your own.
