Who wouldn't want to have their wedding celebration here? A classic Spanish style hacienda, the Holman Ranch will embrace you in its warmth and charm from the moment you walk onto the property. The aura that surrounds you is truly wonderful. You can instantly tell that the owners of this wonderful retreat approached its creation as a true labor of love.
This particular celebration is simply stunning, and it's no wonder when you release the creative energy of Amy Byrd. Her vivacious spirit as a designer has been recognized by The Knot, who named her as one of Northern California's Top Ten Planners. The vibrant autumn color palette chosen for the floral design brings out the rustic feel of the event, but the arrangements are still elegant and refined.
We really do love every detail of this wedding, from the collateral to the table settings. Amy and her team have done an incredible job of showcasing the wonderful details of the property. We also tip our hats to Lauri Levenfeld from Zoom Photographywho always does an amazing job.
The key to a successful event at a location like Holman Ranch is to use the elements that surround you. Play into them and don't fight them. For example, I love how the wagon wheel was used for the escort cards, chalkboards are utilized for the menus, picnic tables are slated for dining, and even the raw light bulbs in the chandeliers are highlighted. All of these rustic, natural elements create a warm and comfortable feel, while still communicating sophisticated, simple elegance. LOVE IT!
"The main inspiration for the entire weekend was the couple's love for family, friends, good food, and one another. The bride and mother of the bride loved everything about Holman Ranch, so wanted to embrace the property and coordinate their wedding design with the already fantastic décor. The family wanted to have a warm intimate dinner, so they selected long farm-style tables that looked like they were made for a family-style dinner at Holman Ranch.
The decor was structured to embrace and enhance the rustic Spanish hacienda rather than trying to make it something that it is not. We also worked with the colors of the season and specifically used elements that you would find on a ranch. Each design element was chosen so you felt as if it had always been a part of Holman Ranch." Amy Byrd
