Spotlight stealing details can turn any room from ordinary to extraordinary. These two inspiration boards feature real weddings at the Julia Morgan Ball Room in San Francisco. They represent a surreal contrast in design style, showing the right details can make a wedding that is uniquely yours.
The first wedding documented by Jay Tsai invokes feelings of royalty. Deep cardinal red tones paired with gold could have been taken right out of a Spanish palace. Who wouldn't want to have a cocktail in this well-created lounge? Have a seat in the oversized couches and take in the ambiance of the imported foliage and lighting.
The table setting is elegant and refined, with the flared gold chargers. A delicate trio of gold rimmed plates and etched stemware blend perfectly with the damask table cloth.
Even the bride's shoes are matched perfectly to the gold bird cages filled with roses and feathers, which act as accent pieces.
In delightful contrast is the soft romantic wedding documented by Lisa Lefkowitz. The champagne damask tables point the way to the astonishing character of the fireplace. Three unique floral arrangements are prominent throughout the room, which are both feminine and flirtatious. The composition of the flowers are similar but still unique.
Oversized mint julep cups, tall silver Grecian style urns, and silver revere bowls are incorporated to effortlessly blend this design together. Every detail of this wedding was created to blend effortlessly.
