Summary
Orange you glad you're having an autumn wedding? The warm rich colors of fall have inspired a surge of amazing color palettes that reflect the beauty of the harvest and the turning colors of trees' foliage. A traditional three tier cake is given a brush of color by encircling each of its layers with a chocolate brown ribbon, further enhanced by a splash of edible
bling. This simple yet elegant design is brought to life with a combination of roses in burnt orange and warm sunflower tones. Autumn leaves create a festive base for the cake, and a few orchids add that hint of sophistication every bride desires.
Give your aisle added depth, dimension, and color by turning ordinary white wooden chairs into the hosts of floral elements by adding bright cascades of flowers. Dahlia's, orchids, lilies, and fall wheat paired with maple branches work exceptionally well to give the fall feeling you desire. Monochromatic flowers in a square vase lined with variegated banana leaves is a wonderful platform for a more modern, clean design. Gerber daisies, dahlias, and raniculus make full, lush, single-color arrangements that look great but are not cost prohibitive.
Bring a touch of the fall harvest into your table design by adding traditional fall elements. Maple leaves, turban pumpkins, and multicolored gourds overflowing out of a traditional cornucopia bring an element of autumn to your festivity's design. The warm amber color of pure maple syrup placed in decorative crystal maple leaf bottles are also wonderful additions to any fall table. Your guests will enjoy the sweetness of a syrup while reminiscing about your wedding over their morning coffee and scones.
Dress your flower girl in whimsical style that makes guests think of a forest sprite. Ditch traditional baskets of flowers and instead opt for a fun, creative pommander tied with ribbon in a complementary color to the globe of flowers. This lighter alternative will provide entertainment for duration of the evening for both children and adults alike.
