About the Venue

Your wedding day is like the first chapter in a great novel that is written by you and your husband-to-be. Where you choose to host your celebration will help to set the scene as you delve into your great adventure together. Will you be starring in a timeless classic, romantic comedy, or an action adventure? The choice is yours, but choose carefully as so many of the details of the celebration depends on the back drop.

Each year thousands of couples spend countless hours scoping out the perfect locale for the perfect opening scene. A few lucky couples will discover and explore BR Cohen Winery in Sonoma. The winery itself is an expanse of gorgeous vineyards and features an attentive staff, award-winning wine, and handcrafted olive oil. Tie your first chapter to the rich and flamboyant history of Bruce Cohen, the infamous rocker turned wine maker. The winery was founded in 1984 and is ideal for the couple who wants to combine their celebration with a sense of whimsy, incorporating classic rock, classic cars, and a unique connection with the artistic community.

BR Cohn is one of our favorite venues. It is very authentic to wine country and does not feel like it was built to be a wedding venue (because it wasn't). Fox Hill, the ceremony site, is unique in being situated in the gorgeous oak trees in the middle of a vineyard. The sun drenched Sonoma landscape is a wedding photographer's dream. ~ Elle Jae Weddings

To perfectly capture a romantic moment, meditate on the word soft. Kathleen Deery Design has captured the feeling of softness impeccably. The design of this celebration adds a soft and feminine feel by incorporating different textures with flowing fabrics and textiles in soft neutral colors. Romantic and whimsical accessories add to the design.

The bridesmaids' dresses are created of flowing crepe fabric in an amazing maize color. They capture the wind, creating movement yet perfectly balancing the ceremony space which is dominated by the variegated brown earth tones. Dahlias in poppy, kumquat, brick, and sunflower yellow colors are a simple and understated way to bring the design together.
