According to TheKnot.com & WeddingChannel.com 2010 Real Weddings Survey, the average couple spent $26,984 on the wedding. This includes wedding photography which costs them $2320 – 8.5% of the total wedding expenditure. Invitations and favors cost over $500.
So, brides, I’m curious – what do you plan to do with your wedding/ engagement photos? Will you upload them to your Facebook, Flickr or other accounts so your friends and family and will view and post comments? Will you make prints of them? Put them in a photo album? How will you share the memories from the biggest day of your life? Will you spend any of that $2320(or more) on creative photo products and wedding keepsakes like photo mugs, photo keepsake boxes, photo water bottles, canvas prints, jewelry and more? How about a professionally printed coffee table photo book?
And what type of favors are you buying/making? Will any of them be personalized with photo charms? Like photo jewelry or photo key chains ?
I would love to read your responses – please post them in the comments below.
If you have any questions on how to create a personalized item with photos or need ideas on what to get wedding guests, bridesmaids, groomsmen or parents, ask away in the comments. I’ll be sure to respond to you.
Let’s get started. How will you share and display your wedding photos?
