Whether you’re taking a honeymoon or a mini-moon, with so much focus on the big day, often your honeymoon gets booked, and although the initial rush of excitement, in the chaos of your wedding day, it takes a back seat until it’s time to board the aeroplane as newlyweds. With so many things to remember, from table favours to purchasing a guest book, ordering vendor meals to packing a touch-up bag, it's easy to forget honeymoon essentials until the last minute and then panic ensues. Bask in your new marital status with a honeymoon themed sunhat to protect you from the sun or personalised T-shirt that you can pair with denim shorts for a day of exploring, or dress up with a midi pleated skirt and heels for at night. Marketplaces such as Etsy offer cute “honeymoonin’” T-shirts or glamorous or personalised sun hats to celebrate your newlywed status and share your joy with the world.

Surprise your partner on your first night with a sexy honeymoon lingerie set to celebrate your new lives as a married couple. The colour red signifies love, passion and seduction so a red, lace lingerie set is the perfect option. Take things a little further and add matching stockings and a suspender belt that will clinch in your waist to create a silhouette that they won’t be able to resist.

A diary

Your honeymoon will be filled with wonderful experiences and memories to last a lifetime. If you want to capture every moment, then invest in a travel journal to jot down your favourite moments from the day. Contraception
