Many couples are looking for ways to reduce their carbon footprint at there wedding. Not only does this help mother earth, but it also makes a clear environmentally conscience statement to guests of the wedding. If done correctly, guests might re-evaluate their consumption patterns and use some of the ideas that the host puts forth in their own daily lives. We have brainstormed several ways to create an event that is in harmony with mother earth.

>Instead of a using a gift registry, choose a non-profit organization that you would like to have your guests support

>Create a wedding website that explains how your event represents effort to conserve

>Organize ride shares to reduce the number of vehicles used to travel to and from your event
