Why do all the girl meets new boy movies take place in Ireland or somewhere in the United Kingdom? Remember PS I Love You with Hillary Swank and Mr. Hotness himself, Gerard Butler? The newest movie to be set across the pond is Leap Year starring Amy Adams and Mathew Goode. It's a wonderful story about a woman who goes to Ireland to propose to her boyfriend who is there on business. She is proposing because in Ireland the only acceptable time that a woman can do so is February 29, hence the title of the movie. However, things don't quite work out as she planned. Leap Year will be in theatres this Friday.
