     Bridesmaid's gifts are traditionally given at rehearsal dinner.  It is a way to say 'Thank You' for being a special party of your life.  I say "why be traditional, be different"!!!  Instead of waiting for rehearsal dinner give her the gift when you ask her to be in your bridal party. 

One of my favorite Bridal Party gift ideas is a Tote Bag full of things she likes.  A Tote Bag is a great idea especially if you have a destination wedding.  That way they can use it on your wedding day.  Embroider their initials on the Tote Bag for a special touch.  You can fill the bag with personal things about your lives or put fun things they like.  Don't forget to add a note telling them how wonderful they are and how much you love having them in your life.

     If the tote idea is too casual and you want to give them something special (a keepsake) they can wear on your wedding day, then the perfect gift would be bridal earrings or a wedding jewelry set.  Make sure the jewelry you choose is not too elaborate.  Give them something they can wear on your wedding day but not be afraid to wear again in a more casual setting.  Here is a cute wrapping idea.  On your computer type a bunch of words that describe your bridesmaid including her name.  Print it on a pretty piece of stationary and use it to wrap the jewelry. 

     Whether you decide on the Tote Bag or Jewelry I know they will love it because it comes with the special task of being your Bridesmaid.
