Getting started

I am new to blogging, so forgive me if this isn't the most exciting thing I have ever written.  

I am also new to Bridal Tweet.  As a professional photographer building my business I look forward to sharing some of my ideas, gathering some from other professionals, and mostly hearing from brides-to-be about what they want for their upcoming weddings.

It seems like a lifetime ago, but only 5 years ago I was a bride.  I planned my entire wedding by myself on a budget most said would never be enough.  Trying to find trustworthy vendors was a difficult process.  I succeed for the most part by using the web and a bridal forum much like this one.  There is so much information out there that it can get overwhelming. Hitting the chat boards I found a wonderful photographer, well within my budget, simply by reading the comments on wedding planning in my area.  That is why I signed up for Bridal Tweet.  I hope to get my business out there and help bides find an affordable solutions to the sometimes over inflated prices photographers charge once they hear the word wedding.  

M and D photography is a passion of mine, not a job.  I love what I do and hope to help couples capture their day in a fun and relaxed way.  I believe in working hard, charging fair prices, and delivering high quality photographs.   If you are looking for a photographer who will listen to your ideas, add some of their own, and work around your budget, look no further, you've found her!
