Getting Ready for the big day

As photographers we are always looking for creative ways to narrate the story of your wedding day, we are lucky to take part and be witness of such an amazing collection of events , a day full emotions.  A day  with months even to a year of preparation, all for that unique  and special moment, your wedding, and it is our duty to truly capture the day, to represent everything that went on that day.   Some couples venture out in having a Destination Wedding, it can be stressful, planning long distance but they blind fully trust us vendors to  do our job and create her dream wedding.  As destination weddings can be a little hectic with the traveling, living on a room for a week or so, going on tours and a lot of fun time, there might be a few details that might escape your mind on the day of the wedding.  

Your hotel room with a wedding mess is fine, but a room with glasses, bottles, cans, bathing suites or any type of clothing, a undone bed  and suitcases everywhere and any other items not related to your wedding it looks well lets say not suitable.  What you can do to avoid this is try an have your wedding coordinator or request the maid services to schedule the  room clean  early in the morning, i am more than sure that since yo are THE BRIDE, they are able to work something for you.   

As you have selected your destination wedding to be at a fancy location, you as a guest of a hotel, will be encourage to wear the hotel's bracelet, this is as a part of the all inclusive policy and as a way of the hotel to identify you as their guest.  While this works for the hotel, it not pretty on your wedding images, even some hotels are placing clear bracelets on the couple but they are very visible.  On the day of the wedding have them remove  and keep them on a safe place, let your wedding coordinator know that you don't want them to show up on your wedding images and ask her to remove also the bracelet from your groom and all the wedding party.   Once the event is over you can take your bracelet to the front desk and they should be able to replace them for new ones, but don't forget to save them or they will charge you if you loose one. 

These are little details that might escape your mind on all the wedding excitement!
