Garden Whimsy - San Diego Style Weddings Magazine

The new issue of San Diego Style Weddings Magazine hit the stands this
month. I am so lucky to be featured in two of the table designs on
pages 200 and 201. Here is page 201.

I had fun with these designs. I created the bird nest using shredded Aspen wood fibers with the name cards placed under them. The name cards were created by layering a butter yellow and purple cardstock on top of
a matching corrugated paper. For the menu cards I sewed (yes, just
using my sewing machine) a ruffle onto matching butter yellow cardstock
and then layered it on top of the purple textured cardstock. Beads were
then placed on the ruffle and through out the menu design for added
sparkle and dimension. The birdcage design was created to accent the
centerpieces and theme.
