FW Recap- From Dogs and Jewels to Beauty

Last week brought a close to fashion in New York City.  We saw some amazing runway shows from designers like Anna Sui, Betsey Johnson and Max Azaria and got a chance to check out all of the latest and greatest fashion trends- but what we really had our eye on was the accessories! 

Bold jewelry ruled the Ralph Lauren runway show.  From drop earrings in reds and greens to statement necklaces inspired by “tribal designs” the jewelry added bursts of color to many of the shows dark outfits. 

It wasn’t the dogs and cake that we were looking at during the Isaac Mizrahi show, or the structured dresses- it was the ornate jewels.  From earrings to pins, we loved everything that waltzed down the runway (ok the dogs were pretty cute too!).

Not only was Fashion Week packed with fashion and accessories, but it was also packed with beauty!  At the Ford Beauty Suite at the Hudson Hotel, celebrities got the royal treatment with pampering treatments- from hair stylists to manicurists and even wardrobe stylists, this suite had it all to spoil celebrities and freshen them up for the next big designer show.  Our very own daughter Jill Press, who works at FORD Artists, was there to share in the excitement.
