Why hire a wedding or event planner?
Planning for a wedding or special event can be a truly exciting time, however there are so many details that go into making a beautiful event run smoothly. With a busy career and personal life it can be difficult for couples to find the time and resources needed for such a task. A wedding coordinator has the knowledge and experience needed to locate the most reputable vendors, negotiate prices and contracts, handle the myriad of details, and greatly reduce stress throughout the planning process.

Can I afford a planner?
Yes! A wedding planner is part of your budget, not an added expense. Whether your budget is small or large wedding coordinators should work with you to produce a fantastic event, including coordination fees, all within your budget. Your first consultation is usually free and at that time you and the coordinator will work together to determine your specific needs and budget.

How do you charge?
Wedding coordinators offer a range of wedding and event planning and design packages based on the level of involvement their clients seek. It used to be customary to charge on a percentage basis of the budget but it has become more common to charge a flat fee for services rendered. However, there still can be three choices for charging: 

 

  • Flat Fee
  • Percentage of Total Budget
  • Hourly Rate

What should I look for when choosing a wedding planning service?
I provide clients with a minute by minute service. I am a professional who loves what I do and does it with passion and flair. I believe in coordinating a special event with creativity no matter what level package we are working at. I have paired with high end vendors, venues, and professionals to provide you a truly innovativeevent. I  personally coordinate every event even if one of my professional consultant staff members is assigned to your event I oversee every event that my companies take on. I guarantee more than satisfaction, I guarantee perfection. This is the level of commitment, dedication, and professionalism you should look for in your coordinator.
 
Should coordinators receive special discounts from vendors?
NO!!!!!! We work with a variety of talented wedding professionals and over the years have established solid relationships with many of them. Occasionally vendors will pass along an exclusive deal or extra service to our clients only, but it depends on many circumstances. We also receive discounts with many event rental and linen companies which we pass along to our clients. We never accept kick-backs or commissions for any of our vendors we recommend as we feel this creates an unethical situation for all parties involved. If your coordinator is receiving a kick-back or commissions from any of their suggested vendors this is a sign to you to find a different more honest coordinator.
How soon should I book your services?
Yesterday!!!!
I'm just kidding but the sooner you can the better. It depends on the month of your event. Most coordinators usually fill dates in the more popular wedding months of May, June, September, and October anywhere from 12-18 months in advance, however your date may still be open. Contact a professional today to check availability.

Should my coordinator bring an assistant to the event?
Wedding Coordinators should have a team of planners, coordinators, and assistants all working along side them to create unforgettable memories for you from your event. One event assistant is included in our inclusive planning packages. For larger weddings over 180 guests or weddings with complicated logistics such as large rental orders and large distances between venues we do require additional team members. 
Are coordinators willing to travel?
Absolutely! Additional fees may apply to cover travel expenses. Some coordinators offer complete Destination Wedding Planning Services.  Warmer Climates are preferred!
