So, last week I blogged about centrepieces I donated to the Canadian Mental Health Association of Peel's Annual General Meeting. I was able to bring some of the centrepieces home with me so that I could conduct a bit of an experiment on floral longevity. The purpose, to bring you the results, and to help you make more informed decisions about your choice in florist, and to help you see your floral pieces as an investment, the way they should be.
When I got married, I chose a local florist with a proper shop and everything, and I had an expectation that what I would get would be great - especially for the money I spent. What happened was that my flower girl's bouquet and many of the bouts all withered and wilted before the ceremony even began, and then the roses started to drop out of my bouquet during our formal photos directly after the ceremony. This combined with excesses of money I spent elsewhere (seemingly unnecessarily when I look at it now) I swore never again, and so Budget Wise Bride was born.
Please check out the results of my experiment on my
BLOG (www.budgetwisebride.blogspot.com). I think you'll be pleasantly surprised!
