first impressions

Has anyone ever received an abrupt attitude when calling a venue to get information on having their reception at their facility? I did and wanted to share. The "Hill" in Hudson, New York. She sounded as though I got her out of bed. I was calling for my cousin who is getting married...she was looking for a fall wedding - preferably. But, would have gone into the winter or changed the day (Sat., Sun., or Friday evening). The woman hung up the phone before I could even ask about other dates/times of year.So rude and disappointing.

Beware - if that is the way they treat potential clients...how could they make any bride happy!
