Feature: Love Story #1

I am VERY excited to feature my first Engagement and Wedding feature on my blog. This is a part of my blog that I would really love to have expand and grow, featuring couples on a weekly basis. I love reading about different LOVE STORIES and seeing photos that captured special moments at an Engagement and Wedding.

  Those are sweet and special moments that you will forever treasure.

 

 This week I am featuring Yohell and Gladys Collado. They were engaged on June 5, 2009 and married on September 19, 2010.

 Here is their love story, from the heart of Gladys...

 "Yohell and I met on March 9, 2006 at Old Navy on 34th Street. I could say it was "Love" at first sight! I was the customer and Yohell was an employee there at the time. He offered me a shopping bag and also an Old Navy credit card just to catch my attention. I accepted the bag, declined the credit card offer (lol). When he looked at me and spoke to me I was instantly attracted to his personality, good looks and his charm. We spoke a little and exchanged smiles and then I continued shopping. When I approached the door to leave, there was my "prince charming to be" waiting to say goodbye. He wrote his contact information on a receipt  and asked me to call him so we can get to know each other more. We never encountered someone in our lives before in this way, but just by the first impression- we didn't know what it was, but we knew... something was special. That same night I called him (I had never taken a strangers phone number before) and we made plans to meet again on March 14th at Starbucks. We enjoyed each others company so much he asked me out on a second date a few days later to dinner and a movie. We stopped by the Sam Ash Store where he played the piano and sang to me. Having him serenade me was so special. I knew he was God sent because we had discovered that we both were believers, had the same faith, were both family oriented, and both loved the keyboard. <3 After that it was official we were courting! We have been together for four and a half years as a couple and already ten months as husband and wife! We have had our ups and downs, but with God in the center of our relationship we are more in love then ever! We truly believe that we were predestined to be together and we are so happy that we will spend the rest of our lives hand in hand and heart to heart forever and always as one!"
