Fall Weddings are here in Phoenix

We are headed into fall, well in Phoenix we don’t get a “real fall season” here it’s just “hot or not as hot”, wouldn’t it be great if we had seasons? Oh well so much for pondering weather, but with weather comes the fall “Bridal Season” which will be in full swing soon.  Summer weddings are harsh here in Phoenix, anything photo wise outside when a bride is in full make-up, hair and gown is so tough on the bride, not to mention on we photographers.  Not only do the flowers wilt with being in the heat, so do the brides.   I watched a couple this summer that dreaded the trip outdoors to do photographs by themselves and with family pre and post wedding.  The grooms looked like they were not happy either.  With the change in weather (summer weddings are cheaper because of our heat) comes more couples marrying in the cooler months.  It brings the “indoor weddings” back “outside” more ceremonies outside and receptions held outside.
