With the new year we usher in a new group of newly engaged couples who will begin their wedding journey.
Some couples cannot wait to get started and some will wait until the last minute, either way the end goal is the same, to have a great wedding and select, the right vendors, to help you make that happen.
One item early on your list, may be an announcement or save the dates. This will usually require the expertise of a photography studio.
For couples, this is a great way to build a relationship, with the one person who will spend more time with you on your wedding day, than anyone else, your photographer.
Our professional advice when it comes to engagement photos, is to select a location which is either special or symbolic to the couple.
It may be the location where he proposed, or it may be the Jersey Shore, where you spend most of your summers, regardless make it special.
If you truly do not have a location in mind, discuss with your photographers some possibilities.
Based on the couples interests and personality, we have recommended locations ranging from the beach, to one of New York or New Jersey's many park and gardens, to the New York skyline, or to a cobblestone road in a historic part of the state, which may feature some cast iron lamp post and benches.
regardless of what you choose, this will be the first images of your road to marriage, and you will never forget it, so make it count.
