Eco-Friendly Favors... not just for weddings!

Tree Beginnings has its roots in the realm of weddings, having grown from an idea that Rick and I had, to give tree seedlings to our wedding guests back in 1992. But if you think we're just about weddings, you would be mistaken! Our green favors and other eco-friendly gift ideas are ideal for all kinds of special occasions, including birthday and anniversary parties, baby and bridal showers, baptisms, communions, bar mitzvahs and bat mitzvahs, and just about anything else you can think of.

In fact, even businesses are getting into the act, as I've described in previous posts: What’s Your Company Doing for Earth Day? and How to Show Your Commitment to the Environment. Here's an example of a promotional product we created recently for one of our clients.

Valerie Burke is running for office in Markham, Ontario. Their city flower is the Black-eyed Susan, a beautiful orange perennial that blooms from summer into the fall.

As a campaign giveaway, we created a customized seed favour with a wildflower seed mix that includes the Black-eyed Susan. Imprinted with Valerie's picture and contact information, it was a perfect reflection of her personal message "working together to make a difference".
