I like classic, clean, simplicity in the photographs that I take and edit, the clothes that I wear, car that I drive, and most other notable things in my life .  I also feel the same about most of the food that I eat.   I especially feel that way on the most special of holidays.   Yes I said it, Super Bowl Sunday IS A HOLIDAY.  Anyway,  was totally ready for the big day.  I got my chips and mixed up my french onion soup dip.  Also, I got some wonderful mango peach salsa from my wife's favorite mega colossal store,  Costco.

To top off my menu, I prepared a great football staple "SUPER BOWL CHILI."    I guess everyone has their own special version, I'm no different.  It's that  simple, easy, and mighty tasty.  At least, my family and friends love it or at least they haven't complained or thrown shade my way!!!  The clean part comes into play because I make it in our slow cooker.  Four hours after putting all the ingredients into the slow cooker, and, it's ready.  Now of course you can make your basic chili in a couple of minutes on the stove in an ordinary pot or frying pan.  But it is not as much fun making it that way and not as hearty tasting.   Take a look at the ingredients, my handy dandy slow cooker, and the end product...  I usually add corn and tortilla chips for an extra crunch and kick.  Take a try at making this meal sometime soon.

Here's a great tip that can help make a bride or groom's life easier.  Get yourself a slow cooker, one of the forgotten and underused items in a kitchen.  Definitely makes for less stress for a busy bride and groom.  It's simple and easy and for couples who just want a meal that  basically cooks on its own.
