Dressing Room Sessions: The FREE Seattle Engagement Session

EVERYONE on the East Coast is doing "Dressing Room Sessions". But...being the mover and shaker I CLAIM to be, I've decided to bring them to Seattle! (Yay!! I get to introduce YOU guys to something now!!)

So what ARE these sessions?

Ok, bride to be...let me give you a wedding analogy that you understand. You had the opportunity to try on your wedding dress BEFORE you bought it, right?

If you're wedding dress shopping went something like:

Bride looking online: I want THAT one!!

Dutiful bridesmaid: But, Brittany!! That's the wrong size!! Don't hit buy!!!!!

Brittany the Bride: BUY ALL THE THIIIIINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then perhaps we AREN'T the photographers for you. o_o

We understand that a great photographer will connect with YOUR style and YOUR needs on YOUR wedding day. If you're paying an arm and a leg for us...you should be getting what you are paying for!! (P.S. You should TOTALLY see our appendage collection...).

You are spending JUST as much, if not more, on your wedding photographer as you are your wedding dress...so why shouldn't you get to "try us on" too?

The photographers at IMO Ink want to give you that opportunity. When you schedule a date for you and your better half to meet with both Josh and I, we let you test drive us!

Here's how it works:

1. We pick a place to meet. Preferably, instead of meeting in a coffee shop in the middle of town, we can meet somewhere a bit more meaningful (although...come to think of it, we HAVE had some pretty amazing coffee house shoots). I highly recommend picking a spot that is within quick walking distance to a good sit down location, since that's where step three comes in. Parks, cool city street places, markets, etc. are perfect! And don't be afraid to think outside of the box!! Where did the two of you meet? What is a favorite date spot? Where did he give you your first wet willy?

2. Dress to impress. :) These images MIGHT be going out on your invites or used in your signature book...so try to dress up! If we are going to a park, think sun dress. If it's raining that day...have a pair of wellies ready to go. I've been told from NUMEROUS Seattleites? that you DON'T use umbrellas. Particular, aren't we???

BUT...they DO make a great accessory on a rainy day, so I don't think you'll be judged TOO harshly!!

3. On the day we meet, we will take you around for 30 minutes (ish...WHAT? We get excited!!) and photograph you and "the dude" around town. We will chat, tell stupid jokes, and generally have a swell time.

Yes...I used the word "swell".

We will, in all honesty, COMPLETELY geek out with you.

4. Afterwards, we'll go sit down at a coffee joint, your home, our home....a strangers home and talk a little shop. We will go over with you EXACTLY how our wedding days normally go, how our pricing is structured, and, of course, answer any questions you might have from us. The whole process up to now takes about an hour (ish)!!

5. Within 24 hours, you'll receive around 10 images from us...artistically edited and resized for facebook and other social media! If you decide you would like to work with us on your wedding, we will you shoot you the contract and upload a gallery for you of all of the images in High Res...ready to print. If you decide you would like to go with another photographer (for one reason or another) but love the images we've created together, have no fear!! Each image file is totally purchasable from us! Just let us know which ones you are looking at!
