Don't Pull Your Hair Out Over The Guest List -How Save The Dates Help

Are you pulling your hair out because of soooo many friends and family and venue space is only so big... or budget is not working out? If you are newly engaged or your wedding date eight months or more away , this article will possibly help you from getting to the hair pulling stage.Lets relax a moment, take a deep breath and think about this. First of all lets face it you are not alone! I do not know if that makes you feel better, but I do hope it does! Your guest list is something that you will work with so closely.... I repeat so closely....you may possibly have anxiety attacks if it is not near enough to you at all times. The other side to that is having anxiety attacks if you see it or speak of it one more time! (You possibly may feel both but at different stages of planning your wedding) Okay..really ladies do not let this get you that stressed!

Yes, only you can make your own guest list (of course with "lots of input" from everyone else ). Would you rather be more relaxed closer to your wedding date and get the guest list under control early on? Here are some thoughts for sending out Engagement Announcements or Save The Dates that may help you .(Follow the tips for advance planning even if you do not send out engagement announcement.)

One of the very first "to do lists" for brides is the all important guest list. Getting a good idea from both families as early as possible will help you enjoy that spa day and really relax closer to your wedding. The next step is thinking about the wedding venue for ceremony and reception. Optimally, you want to decide where you will be married, make sure the space is available, and know how many people the venue will accommodate.... before the first request for date saving is sent to guests. Knowing this before you finalize your engagement guest list helps you plan more efficiently for the wedding invitation guest list . How you ask? For beginners, people will actually respond to your save the date request by congratulations. They really are excited for you . Usually they will let you know how happy they are about attending,or how sad they are that they already have an unavoidalble conflict that week and will not be able to attend. These are not formal responses as a wedding invitation response , but very ,very insightful information that you can use , especially from elderly or out of State guests .( Aunts , uncles and all of your friends talk together and someone will get the news , suggest they let you know their intentions especially if unable to be with you on your special day)The ultimate knowledge still comes from the response card within you wedding invitation ensemble .

Save The Dates and Engagement Announcements besides spreading happy news, are a wonderful tool, especially if sent far enough in advance to really get feed back. Typically if you are planning on at least a one year engagement, plan on sending out save the dates as soon as you have your venue. Eight to Nine months is a perfect time for save the dates. Some send at six months and that is fine, but that does not give as much help if depending on hearing news to rearrange the guest list a bit.

Now , relax .You have taken the steps above and planning your wedding invitation guest list will be a breeze! (Well maybe not a breeze...but easier !
