Destination Weddings

The average cost of a UK wedding can be as high as £20.000 this is leading more and more brides to consider a destination wedding but what do they get for their money??

In my experience as a wedding planner and looking at the options available from different travel companies i would always try to persuade any brides to hire an independant wedding planner. So many of the big travel companies are "throwing in a free wedding" just to get the booking but what do you get as part of the free wedding. I call them conveyor belt weddings, very basic and simple and often the bride has no control over her day.

Using an independant wedding planner the bride gets to remain in control of everything without the hassle of running around and doing the bookings herself.

I like to build up a good friendly relationship with all my brides, finding out a bit about their lives, their interests and that way i can get a good idea of what kind of wedding they are aiming for.

Every bride is unique and every wedding is different.
