Destination Stresser

We decided to go to Cuba for an all-inclusive wedding deal. It was cheaper and seemed like a great way to have a week long party instead of a one day party.

I still have some serious stress-out moments where I wonder if we made the right choice. I really enjoy reading all the fun indie wedding blogs and seeing what other people have created. But I won't get the chance to create all that since it's a basically a pre-planned wedding package. Also, pretty much my whole immediate family was unimpressed with the idea. Nan and Gramp are still grumpy about not being able to go. I knew that would happen, but it's still tough.

My main comfort is knowing we'll have a reception in Liverpool the following summer for those that didn't make it to Cuba. I'll wear the dress again and pull out some of my indie wedding ideas. You can't please everyone...
