Yesterday was a slightly strange day for me, we had a recruitment agency come in, so we could discuss what skills, traits and personality we are looking for in 'The New Me' and the whole time I just couldn't help thinking; that when it's time to conduct the interviews for potential candidates for my role, will I be able to remain objective and un-biased? I mean, will I be sitting there during the entire interview thinking "Well that's not what I would do, so your wrong! NEXT!" lol Oh God I make myself sound like that Meryl Streep character in 'The Devil Wears Prada' (I do love that film)
But I'm rambling again! So today is mood board day and as I sat on the bus to work this morning, I seemed to be battling over what direction I would take todays mood board in? Should I pay homage to my new found love for all things vintage or not? I eventually decided that today I would go for a more modern feel, because not everyone is a vintage lover and god forbid I should be labelled a 'One Trick Pony' Lol. No, I can appreciate all styles, all colours and all era's! ( I should hope so, If plan to take this wedding planning business seriously lol)
So todays moodboard, may not be as colourful as
last weeks (which I have to confess is a favourite of mine so far) but sometimes bright colours not required or even wanted, in fact todays moodboard shows how using a basic palette of black and white, with splash of colour added (because we really don't want your wedding decor resembling a Chess Board) can result in a tasteful and modern 'Monochrome Affair'!
J'ADORE I WANT MORE
Monochrome affair
Stay blessed and we'll speak again soon.
