Congratulations Holly and Rob!

Holly and Rob's Big Day!

This wedding came up quick! I was so happy to photograph their day. What a great couple and both their families and friends were wonderful.

My day started at Holly's parents house where Rima Habib was doing a great job applying makeup to the wedding party. There was also a nice selection of finger foods (much appreciated) available. Then a quick trip to Blush Spa and Salon in LaSalle for hair styling. Which was followed by a trip to document the groom and groomsmen preparing. Then back to the brides parents house for the photos of the wedding dress being laced up and some outdoor portraits of the bride and her parents and bridal party. 

With that done it was somewhat of a rush to get to the church. Upon arrival at Sacred Heart Church it was game time, no break. Almost immediately the service and ceremony started and was handled awesomely by Father Tom. What a beautiful church to photograph in!

After the ceremony and with the weather looking iffy we headed over to Jackson Park for some formal portraits. After a few nice shots the weather forced us to make it short and sweet with little time for photos. Which brought us to the reception at the Masonic Temple Ballroom. Great venue with excellent food. And with David Amyotte DJ'ing the atmosphere was incredible.
