Color! Color! Color! Weddings today are all about shades, tones and hues. Create the WOW factor with inspiration by desings for a frand, colorful affair. If you keep reading magazines and blogs and surfing the net, you're probably feeling overwhelmed by all possibilities. Keep your eyes open, your senses attuned and have your atennae up to the endlessly provocative sheer sophistication welcoming a festive effect.

As a wedding and event planner, I would suggest to start with a color theme and work your way to centerpieces, decor, favors, and lighting towards the whole color theme. Well chosen colors and decor can help enhance the festive and celebratory mood. Rich vibrant colors with red and gold color scheme can be very glamorous and passionate and reflect a joyful feeling.

In Indian and Chinese tradition, the color red signifies joy and celebration and believe red attracts prosperity. Gold also represents good fortune. Imagine what a combination of red and gold can bring! A very dramatic effect!

Spring and summer pastel colors give it a fresh and cool approach. linens in vibrant shimmering material enhance the overall texture. Teal blue, white, silver and various pinks and bright jewel tone create the mood and sets the ambiance. How about purple? Purple has ling been associated with royalty; or you could play it safe with lavnder. You could use monochromatic themes and add little details to have a cosmopolitan chick look.

These are all great options. All you need is a little creativity and passion for making your wedding look great. Brides are bringing their favorite colors into their weddign as  integral components of the decor, flowers, cake and invitations.

    Have a colorful Wedding!
