Clean, Sophisticated Cherry Blossom Wedding Photography

It's that time of year again. Thank goodness the time has come, finally, this year after our long, relentless winter.  It's spring, which means the cherry blossoms are just around the corner.   I know most everyone loves this time of year around Washington DC because of the beautiful cherry blossoms.  The bloom of the trees never gets stale, year after year.  Of course when the blooms start falling off the trees and sticking to our cars that's another matter.  But, not surprisingly, we all get over it.

Couples love having their wedding in spring time and love to have the cherry blossoms as a photography backdrop.  Some of my favorite images in my  photography portfolio is of the cherry blossoms at the Tidal Basin in Washington.  The Tidal Basin is one of my favorite locations in Washington DC to photograph weddings, engagement pictures, and portrait sessions.  You can definitely capture gorgeous, elegant, romantic photographs there.  I love the crisp, sharp pink color of the tree blooms.  I love the contrast between the color of the blooms and the whiteness of a wedding dress.  I love the light reflecting on the water at the Tidal Basin, it's perfection.  Plus, I love the vitality and energy you feel being among so many people slowly strolling and enjoying the beauty and greatness of nature.  I love the love and enthusiasm that is in the air as the spring season heads into full bloom.  All these things are captured in these clean, sophisticated wedding photographs, with the cherry blossoms as a beautiful background for my bride and groom.

I also find that once the crowds and the cherry blossoms fade away, the Tidal Basin is a great location, any time of year, for weddings, engagement picture sessions, and portrait photography.
