Carleigh and Gerry in Tofino this weekend for their wedding

I am getting excited to meet Carleigh and Greg on Friday to go walk through  their rehearsal and meet face to face! Many couples have either never been here in Tofino or haven’t been back in years. On quite a few occasions I do not physically meet the happy couple until they arrive in town for the wedding itself. This is due partly to the amount of couples using the internet to plan their special day either with regular email, video chat or skype. They even keep their guests up to date with a Wedding Website where they can give all of the information needed for accommodation, travel plans, activities, registry and even menu choices.

I also have many couples coming from out of country that have found it difficult to manouevre the logistics in other places and know that BC is more accommodating to  couples wishing to “Tie The Knot”.

So here’s hoping the weather is good for Plan A, ceremony on the beach with Tofino commissioner Gael Duchene officiating and local photographer Michael Farrow capturing those magic moments.
