Quirkiest detail: My favorite details were in the cookie bar – the tulle, the antique bottles and jars, the scrabble tile signs…I loved all of it.

Wedding details: When we got engaged, I knew I wanted a cozy, antique feel for our wedding and Magnolia Plantation’s Carriage House was honestly my first and only choice. It was a labor of love, we did a lot of things ourselves; my husband illustrated and designed the invitations, my mom and I baked over 800 cookies for the cookie bar, and all of our wonderful friends and family helped with endless little jobs that sprung up along the way. Our good family friend Jenny was amazing, she did so much, from sewing the table runners to making the hanging floral arrangements – she also made all the bouquets and boutonnieres – she made everything just wonderful. Wade and I both say it was the perfect day.
