Avoid Concealer: Colour of the skin tone changes during summer and hence looks patchy, so the best option is to sparingly use concealer, but if you have to use it, blend it well. The other option is to use light translucent powder as it can become cakey.
Powder power: For long lasting make-up, apply pressed powder to your eye-lids to soak up any additional oil before applying the eye shadow. This will also help set the powder and prevent creasing. Also, instead of powdering the rising oil from surface of the skin, use tissue paper or bloating paper to absorb dirt, oil and sweat as it won’t make the skin cakey.
Eye wise: Use eye lash curler before applying mascara to open up the eyes. Also, use waterproof mascara to prevent from black eye syndrome. You can also combine a lighter crème eye-shadow with light lipstick or lip gloss and you can have instant bright eyes.
Lipliner comes first: Outline the lips with the lipliner in order to prevent smudging and bleeding of lip colour and only then apply lip colour. Apply lip gloss or shimmer powder on the centre of the lower lips and upper lips to add volume, fullness and dimension. Exfoliate your lips once or twice in a week or run your tooth brush to remove dead skin.
Go bright: Choose juicy pinks, orange shades and yummy reds as they are shades of summer. Bright colours look good on single toned complexion and clear skin.
