Finding the perfect wedding flowers is a delicate combination of personal taste, color balancing, and budget allowances. Though you’ve probably come up with several ideas while attending the weddings of your friends and family, having a little help is always a big bonus; especially when the help is coming from a professional floral arranger. Fortunately, there are some very good wedding flower magazines that will help you pick the right types and colors of flowers for your wedding at a price you can afford. Below, I will go over three of my favorite choices that have proven very helpful when planning weddings for my clients.
Wedding Flowers
As the name suggests, “Wedding Flowers” is a magazine that is dedicated specifically to arrangements and designs for weddings. From choosing your colors and types of flowers to learning how to mix them in with your wedding sparklers or candy suckers, this magazine covers it all. In fact, beyond just being the top seller and considered being the authority on the subject, ”Wedding Flowers” magazine has been nominated for and won several industry awards.
Flowers
Though this magazine tackles floral arrangements for more than just weddings, it is a fountain of useful ideas and inspiration when putting together combinations of colors and flower varieties. Much of the magazine focuses specifically on wedding flowers, and the other areas of focus have useful tips to making arrangements in general. “Flowers” magazine is particularly helpful when choosing what type of flowers to mix with your roses based on the time of year your wedding will be taking place, as well as which colors will complement the scenery both indoors and outdoors during that time of year as well.
Modern Wedding Flowers
This magazine targets younger brides with a strong focus on modern style. Though you will often see classic contemporary style rejuvenated to create modern looks, walking that fine line is much easier with the ideas and inspiration found within the pages of an issue of “Modern Wedding Flowers” magazine. This has made the magazine one of the fastest growing wedding magazines in general, but definitely leading the pack for the flower-specific genre. With so many young brides craving a modern edge with touches of classic tradition, more and more ceremonies are benefiting from ideas that this wonderful wedding flower magazine has to offer.
