I have a wedding in a couple of weeks where we are utilizing a band/DJ combo. In my search for a live band, I was pleasantly surprised to find that most of them offered both options knowing that they are unable to give the more modern music justice. I consider this the best of both worlds. I'm only dealing with one contact for the vendor and they are providing the music for the entire evening. We will have a 7 person band which includes 2 horn section, male and female vocalists and DJ/MC for the event. I can't wait to see it all come together.
