Bahamas Destination Wedding Celebrating Bridesmaids’

There is no question that the excitement this week in the Wedding World is all the buzz surrounding the releases on Wednesday of the highly anticipated comedy-of-the-summer “Bridesmaids.”

And we at Bahamas Destination Wedding could not help but get caught up in that excitement.

So this week you can expect to see a few post about not only the movie but the impact and influences that Bridemaids have on weddings.

And if you have not heard about the movie, Bridemaids chronicles the relationship of two friends, Annie and Lillian, as Lillian prepares for her wedding day.

When Annie (played by Kristen Wiig), a simple Midwestern girl is asked to be her best friend Lillian’s (played by Maya Rudolph) maid of honor. Though lonely and broke, she struggles to please the snobby, rich bridesmaids at every pre-wedding event.

Annie bluffs her way through the expensive and bizarre rituals while trying to make new friends. With one chance to get it perfect, she tries to show her best friend and her bridesmaids just how far you’ll go for them.
